Flying a quadcopter around our office is always a fun activity for our team. A few of our team members are quadcopter pro’s, whipping and zooming through our desks, office doors, and tables. Smart connected products (SCP), like the quadcopter, are built from a framework called the IoT stack. The IoT Stack is comprised of 5 layers that come together to create a full-fledged IoT solution. In the last few years, our company has invested and delivered in becoming a leader in the Internet of Things and Augmented Reality. Our Academic team has fed off this excitement and energy, and I am happy to announce that we have some results in the shape of a new online professional development program.
As an IoT developer, I’ve been fortunate to work on a ton of different projects in ThingWorx on all parts of the technology stack. I’m a big advocate of using the correct tool for the job. I’ve found that in IoT, the right workflow can make all the difference in keeping the development team moving quickly and efficiently.
